Text to insert:

Trustworthiness: are the technologies behind AI-based services worthy of our trust? We invent new technologies, research how people use these and assess the risk of using these technologies. Fairness & Bias: for people to trust in AI-based services, they must be demonstrably fair. How can we demonstrate such fairness, without opening up the full data set. Our concept of FaaS, Fairness as a Service, takes major strides in that direction. Financial Inclusion: a major concern for the FinTrust team members is to assure that everyone can benefit from new financial services. We have built a prototype for vulnerable customers to use selective disclosure through verified credentials. FinTrust Toolkit: You can make use of all our research results, be it position papers, software or academic articles.

"Relationships" section– Text required for the relationship to the project of each of the partner organisations:

Newcastle University: the investigators work at Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in the School of Computing and the Newcastle University Business School Atom Bank: the work in FinTrust is carried out in an active collaboration with Atom Bank, Durham, UK. Atom is named partner on the EPSRC-sponsored FinTrust project and is also a partner in a KTP project on AI-based services and identity systems.
The Alan Turing Institute: the work on Financial Inclusion is done in collaboration with the Alan Turing Institute's research programme in Trustworthy Digital Infrastructure for Identity Systems. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: our project on the use of verifiable credentials was funded through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which sponsors a programme in trustworthy identity systems in the Alan Turing Institute. Digital Institute: Leave this one out, otherwise we have to add other Units such as Schools as well UKRI/EPSRC: UK Research and Innovation / Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council sponsors our main project FinTrust: Trust Engineering for the Financial Industry https://gow.epsrc.ukri.org/NGBOViewGrant.aspx?GrantRef=EP/R033595/1
