Run Hardware Tests for the DS8

Summary

The manual provides a list of hardware tests to check that the stimulator is working as expected. Before cracking on with use we will run through these tests and record the results.

What needs to be done?

• [x] Check display is showing expected settings
• [x] Test with dummy circuit: 1Kohm resistor
• [x] Check for LED flash on trigger push
• [x] Check for 'out of compliance' warning on open circuit, current >10ma
• [x] Check stimulation mode operates correctly (i.e. test different pulse generations)
• [x] Use EMG recording electrodes to test for stimulation artefact from a short circuit pulse

• vertical range 50v, horizontal 500microseconds DS8R settings:
• 15ma, 500microseconds
