Part of user story #7 - step 1 is to get a breathing proxy signal read by a pc.

[x] Set the signal generator to give a signal that is a close correlate for regular breathing
[x] pass the output to the PC (does this need the NI board?)
[x] demonstrate reading of the signal in a simple C or python program that will form the basis for our algorithm.

Yep, this is working with Jannetta's teeny breathing signal board. Have read this with the NI board and the NIDAQ python api.
