I can see that, just from listening to it for a few seconds reversed. They may have used Paul Stretch - you can reverse that by speeding up maybe upwards of 800%. It may have been Paul Stretched, and not reversed.
I tried speeding it up in Magix Vegas, and I also wasn't able to get the right playback speed no matter if it was reversed or not.
Side-note, that flashing of images could be some sort of code? (or maybe I'm over analysing)
Not sure about the image flashing, to be fair considering how the first section is so hard to understand it could be anything.
About the audio, when i tried by reversing it i could clearly hear the word (Signore), maybe my hearing isn't good but i do feel there's something in there, but idk what it is

What speed did you play it at?
Well i tried many speeds between 1.5x to 3.0x on audacity, tbf i couldn't find the right speed to understand more then just that single word
There is something you people have missed. https://exalpha-dev.github.io/gs2_id849.html

We did made a page about that, to be specific to the video, the issue itself doesn't mean much atm

It has lore potential and also explains a mechanic that's not in any public release.

The mechanic of the Crab Nebula was already covered in other videos. I couldn't find what other lore potential does it provide, as the recruiters are a main theme of 16.05 since the very first video.

I think he's talking about the line "There Is Also The Weird Sun Thing It Makes Monsters Spawn In DayTime !!!" which, until we get more details is better be left as a reminder instead of a plot device
apparently the audio needs to be checked, i made this issue just in case somebody wants to dig it, apparently seems to be somebody speaking but i can't get the right playback speed, you might have to reverse the audio of the video in order to listen it
