NMM 62.28. long time process for uninstalling texture mods #192

Mods (by Sparrow Prince for FO 4): FAR - Faraway Area Reform 1_1-1355-1-1 FAR - Optimised Default Bump Maps 1-1-1355-1-1

Both files do not contain exactly huge files (about 350 MB each compressed), although it took at least 5 minutes for each to uninstall/remove them with NMM 62.28 from the "Mod folder" - created on an SSD with a 3.8 ghz cpu. NMM needed about 29% of main memory (RAM) while removing each file. Just for information. As usual: Thx for NMM, your work and comittment.

How many other mods do you have that alter the same files?

The issue could be arising if you have set these mods to override another texture mod and while uninstalling NMM has to unpack other archives to replace the files that were altered.

Hi, I haven't set overwriting. Two separate files with different folder structures - only have the same/identical name after the mods were transferred/loaded to NMM for installation. In that case, running "Check for missing DownloadIDs" immediately for each file directly after they've been loaded to NMM for installation - before clicking the green checkmark for installation - can avoid that issue currently.
