NMM failing to uninstall mods since updateing to version 0.80.14 #1161

Please give as much information as you can, replace/remove italicized text.

i recently updated nmm to the latest community version from version 0.80.00, since updateing every single mod i attempt to uninstall from any of the managed games results in the mods files not being properly uninstalled.

every single mod file will be left in the data folder and nmm will incorrectly state that the mod has been uninstalled.

the games i am currently managing with nmm are fallout new Vegas, fallout 4 and skyrim special edition.

i have the same pb, i let an issue too, but for me i have the feeling that it came from a back up, did you do a back up before updating to 0.80.14. My issue is here https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/issues/1165. Tell me if you think it can be the same

Check inside the Mods\VirtualInstall\_overwrites\ folder for your game, if you see a ton of overwrites then something went wrong when reinstalling mods, NMM is just restoring files overwritten during the install process (most likely the whole mod).

If you don't see files in there, then you should make sure nothing is preventing NMM from properly interacting with your mod files (Windows, AV, etc).

so i looked in the folder you specified and im only seeing a few mods there, am i supposed to be seeing all of my installed mods or only specific ones? the mod folders im seeing in the "overwrites" folder are missing files and are sometimes empty. i am seeing a bunch of mod folders in the "virtual install" folder however, they seam to be properly set up and arent missing files.

could nmm have messed up somehow and moved all the mods into the wrong folder?
