FALLOUT 3 - The Mod Was Not Activated #1320

Describe the bug A short description of what the problem is

Trying to install some mods that worked last year with NO ISSUES. Now I've gotten several mods that are NMM compatible and I get the Following Error: The Mod Was Not Activated.

Doesn't matter if I do the Auto Install or Manual. NMM will NOT install and activate it. It's only a good two handful of mods at the time of this post.

Again, the thing is, last year 2023 - I had NO issues at all with any of the mods.

Currently: Advanced Recon Stealth Armor https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2654

FWE - FO3 Wanderers Edition https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2761 .. Part 1 - Part 2 - Patch and such will NOT Activate.

JIP Companions Command and Control] https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20035

... I am sure I will find more, as I am starting a total clean install, as some files got corrupted.

Environment

Please remember to attach any trace logs you get in connection to this problem. Without these it will often be very hard to track down the bug.

To Reproduce How to reproduce the problem

I simply uninstall and Delete and Remove and try to reinstall to no avail, as I get the same error: The Mod Was Not Activated.

Additional information Anything that could help track down this problem, other software used, screenshots, etc.

The above mentioned mods now have others on the mod sites, reporting the same error with NMM.

ADDED: It seems that what ever prior update you all did, messed up.

I can use the afore posted MODS with FMOD NOTES in the ZIP file, with no issues. Now NOTHING changed with the mods and I could use NMM prior to install them.

But "suddenly" - is there some code that was left out / changed or such??

I really do NOT want to to FMOD in that I love the simplicity of NMM over FMOD and especially over Vortex.
