User story

As a Translator

I want to see wiki page with detailed guide on how to set up translating environment with images.

So that I can immediately begin localization of the project without reaching up for help from other active translators.

Design

A Step by step guide with images and text.

DOD

I would like to see a guide where I see instructions for each supported tool and method of translation. How to get it ready to work. Where to take translation files. How to use them in translation tool. How to test them right away. How to send ready translation to developers.

Scenario 1

Given that I am translator, I open wiki and see guide, where it is clearly shown each tool's required steps to install and set up translation ready environment.

When translating environment is set up, I can take translation files as described in guide and start translation.

Then When translation is ready, I would like to see a guide on how to check them in my local copy of application. In the end I would like to know how to contribute my localization to the project.

This gets a thumbs up from me.

Given that translators are often less technical people, it is not reasonable for them to set up a full development environment to translate. We should be providing simple step by step instructions here.

We have #598 which should help with this. Right now you essentially need an IDE, but a service would streamline this process.
