Bug Report - Other: Extension failing to load #11420

Vortex Version: 1.5.7 Memory: 15.84 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.22000) Summery: When ever i boot up vortex Gamebro Plugin manage doesn't start and when try and enable it it doesn't work

This is what it says Wed, 16 Mar 2022 05:44:45 GMT - warn: couldn't initialize extension name=gamebryo-plugin-management, err=The specified module could not be found.

Hi there - the error suggests that a module on which the extension relies is missing or cannot be loaded - this is unfortunately a problem with your environment and not Vortex itself.

This is usually due to missing requirements or corrupt installation things you can try:

  1. Re-Install VC++ redistributables
  2. Re-Install .NET
  3. Re-Install Vortex (make sure to disable any security software you have activated to allow the full package to install)
  4. If you still have issues go on our Discord channels/Forums and ask the community for help.
