Suggestion - FOMOD - Rename mod's name according to what users have chosen in the FOMOD installation #12471

Vortex Version: 1.5.13 Memory: 7.95 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.19041) Feedback for FOMOD system. As a mod author, can Vortex allow FOMOD to rename our mod's name (that is being installed by users) according to what version users have chosen with FOMOD? E.g., if my mod is named "Immersive UI Overhaul", and with FOMOD an user chose a version called "Alternative Design 2", I wanted FOMOD to automatically rename my mod as "Immersive UI Overhaul - Alt. Design 2" in the user's Vortex page.

Would that be possible? I think this would be a nice UX to remind the user what they have installed.

If I'm not completely mistaken this would require a change to the fomod xml format which is a pretty major operation since it would affect every mod manager out there.

This is definitively not going to happen on its own but I'll leave it open in case we ever create a new revision of fomod anyway.
