Bug Report - Slow Downloads: Upgraded to Premium, restarted Vortex, speeds still capped at 1mbps #2662

Vortex Version: 0.16.15 Memory: 15.94 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.17134) Pretty much as the title says, I upgraded to premium and my speeds are the same as before.

Hi HypnoPulsar, thanks for your report, sometimes it may take a few more minutes for our caches to clear out and instate your new premium status; hopefully this has now been sorted out and you're getting full speeds.

Vortex does not implement a speed cap, this is done by the server.

Vortex Version: 0.16.15 Memory: 15.86 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.17763) The profile section in the Vortex Application shows my premium state, but my Downloads are still running at nearly exactly 1MB/s.

Hi guys, Vortex does not limit your download speeds in any way. The speeds are managed by the web side of things and you should report these issues to the web team on their own issue tracker which can be found here: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/web-issues

Vortex Version: 0.16.15 Memory: 15.98 GB System: win32 x64 (6.1.7601) I just downloaded Bruma SE in 30minutes with the Vortex only downloading at what seemed an avarage of 3.5MB/s (I'm being very generous here) when it was downloading. With my 9MB/s DL speed when I would have expected atleast an average of 6MB/s for a Premium service. Multiple times I had to pause and resume the download cause it came crashing down to 0 with no sings of going back up for sometime, doesn't sound very Premiumish. I could have been doing something else during that 30minutes than pressing Pause and Resume. This also happened on the non-premium side aswell and not just on Vortex but on the manual download aswell. The DL speed isn't my problem but that the download goes down to 0 and I have to Pause and Resume it myself and I thought this issue would be somewhat fixed with the uncapped DL speed but no, it still occurs.

I really love what your site is doing and I thank you for that but you still have some issues here and there.

When I click "authorize" on the webapp and begin downloading a mod, my speed shoots up to several MB/s, and then immediately drops down to 1MB/s. This tells me very clearly I'm being capped as a non-premium user when I am in fact premium. This doesn't appear to be simply a slow server issue. If it is, then there's no problem and it will resolve itself when there's less traffic. If I AM being capped, please resolve this immediately. Thank you so much!

Vortex Version: 0.16.15 Memory: 31.95 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.17134) Summary: Download speeds are slower than expected Every download I attempt is capped at 1 mb/sec. This is in spite of the fact that I purchased premium and can get appropriate speed downloads from the server through Chrome (by downloading manually instead of through vortex). Closing and relaunching the app doesn't work, nor does logging out and back in.

I have tried restarting Vortex, logging in and out of Vortex, logging in and out on Nexus, refreshing the web page... Nothing has worked so far.

Vortex Version: 0.16.15 Memory: 7.89 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.17134) I bought premium so that I could download everything faster. However that is not the case. Downloads will not go over 1 MB/s and the speed usually stays between 832 and 992 KB/s. I have tried changing the download region from the Nexus website. Restarted Vortex everytime I changed the region. I also include screenshots that show my internet speed.

This still isn't fixed, download speeds are fast downloading manually but in vortex downloads im getting 50-100kbps, its so stupid ! after so many years why isn't this fixed ! horrible service

and whats even worse is that collections forces you to download on vortex
