Bug Report - Other: "Files were not correctly deployed. The most likely reason is that the files were locked by external applications" #5567

Vortex Version: 1.0.3 Memory: 15.93 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.17763) It seems that I am unable to deploy this Mod to Stardew Valley.

I have closed every related app that I can think off, which includes, Stardew Valley, Steam, Notepad, Notepad ++, and Chrome.

It still would not let me deploy the mods.

I am unsure what to do.

Apparently it's unable to put symbolic links on the drive where you installed Stardew Valley (G:) The most likely reason is that that drive was formatted with fat32/exfat filesystem.

If that's the case your only option is to either move the game to a ntfs drive or move your staging folder to G: as well and then switch the deployment method (settings->mods) to "move deployment"
