Bug Report - Crash: In Game Crash, Happens randomly. #6251

Vortex Version: 1.2.11 Memory: 31.68 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.17763) Thu, 14 May 2020 02:43:00 GMT - error: gamestore-uplay: registry query failed message=The system cannot find the file specified. That error message has nothing to do with your game crashing and it's unlikely that Vortex is the cause of that in the first place. Even if it was, with the information you provide there is no way to figure it out.

@IDCs that message though, does it have to be an error?

The game crashing is most certainly not down to Vortex.

I suppose that "error" might be a bit excessive - especially if uplay doesn't remove reg keys when the user uninstalls a game. changed in https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/extension-gamestore-uplay/commit/b62fc682d456dfaa21ab5de56e0f23b5a301d7a0

Going to close this issue as this issue does not seem to be related to Vortex.
