Please describe what you're doing when this happens. I can see that you're trying to install scripthook through the provided "Fix" button but this works fine for me with the current version of the extension, are you clicking something other than the download link? if so, what?
only clicking the download link, reinstalled vortex and the game, same issue repeated
For a bit of context: I'm assuming @Ukko1980 s report is correct, you click the right link, Vortex tries to download the file but instead the server sends an html file that the download manager can't deal with (the browser can show html pages but not the download component). Why the server sends an html file or what it contains is still a mystery to me, it might be an error message or a request to fill a captcha or something. I can't reproduce it on my end yet, so it may be influenced by your geographic location, your ISP or firewall.
For the time being as a workaround I would suggest you download and install ScriptHook manually, it's not necessary to do it through Vortex.
definitely not seeing a captcha, over these two days ive reinstalled windows with and without updates applied and i get the same error. ive changed IPs more than once through a VPN thus changing geographical locations, also 3 different browsers. script hook is next.....And same issue. if its not skyrm dont use vortex period. close this issue please
Ok, was finally able to reproduce the problem. It has to do with the headers we sent for the download, weirdly some downloads on that page work with that header, others don't.
Will be fixed with the next update
