This issue has been created to collect bug reports for errors which have been generated by Vortex's 3rd party extensions. As you may know, Vortex is open source and highly extensible thanks to our extension manager component which is able to load extensions/plugins created by developers in the modding community.

Your feedback report has been added to this page as the bug you've reported needs to be fixed by the developer of the 3rd party extension you're using, and not by the Vortex development team; please inform the developer through his extension page on the website.

If you're unable to identify the extension/plugin that is causing the issue, please have a look at the error stack in your report; the name of the extension will appear there as seen below - simply search for the extension on the website and report this to the developer directly on his extension page - you can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site.

Vortex Version: 1.4.15 Memory: 15.93 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.19043) Vortex shows that it supports Grounded but can't find the game. I have followed the appropriate steps to manually select the correct file it requests, but it acts like it can't see or find it, yet it IS there. I have purchased the game through Steam and installed it in the appropriate location. Attached are screenshots showing what file Vortex claims it needs, the folder in which the requested file exists when looking for it manually, and the same file it should be in when trying to connect them. Vortex has found other games I also purchased through Steam without needing to be manually connected, so I'm lost as to why this game can't be found or connected.

Vortex Version: 1.4.16 Memory: 15.89 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.19044) this is getting really annoying as a long time user of NNM and now Vortex it is really frustrating to find that i install mods using vortex via install mods link and it's stated that one can use zips cause i've read on the net it's better, yet the Game Of COC stalker wont load. So i go to game files for a look see too find that "Ohh look Vortex has put the files in the wrong folder" when i unzip files i find all files are in a game data folder so as to be installed in COC stalker game folder now if one does this manually it will copy\paste files accordingly to the game data folder, but vortex seems not to be able to do this and i find that the copy of the mod folder is installed in COC stalker folders seperatly so now i have to go in and manually put all those files and go through them in order 'Something in which the mod orginizer Vortex" is supposed to do!. now i have seen on very rare occasions that it happens in skyrim and fallout but it's very rare so that might be due too modders but in this case i have checked the vortex mods folder and all plz fix this as it's been 2 days now of time trying to get this game to fire up so i can play it. and can someone please explain the elevate part of vortex now as instead of installing mods and deploying them i now have to wait to elevate them as well and i've looked on the net and the only thing i can come up with is the idea of people complaining of installed mods not working in vortex and you guys have taken out the ability to install multiple files, Sort of like installing files for dumbies! ehh if thats the case for the new generation of gamers fine but it would be nice if there was and option to turn it off for experianced gamers as the extra time to get mods happening is annoying cheers guys keep up the good work regards agga.agostini@gmail.com

Vortex Version: 1.4.16 Memory: 31.80 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.22000) trying to start slime rancher but its looking for the .exe file in the wrong folder. the .exe is located in the base game file and not in the data folder. tried to move the .exe into the data folder and it still wouldnt work. it wouildnt even load the game and say anything that was wrong. please fix this.

Vortex Version: 1.4.17 Memory: 15.84 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.22000) Attempted to add Battlefront II via the search window and had done a manual scan, however, BFII was still not able to be found. I had acquired the game on Steam, as the game is now available there.
