We updated the Subnautica extension yesterday (twice) reason why you had the 2 downloaded files - they were intended to fix an extension breaking "bug" caused by an update to the 3rd party tool we use to mod Subnautica. We push such updates only when absolutely required (deleting them is fine, the extension has been updated automatically).
Re MHW: the game itself will only load mods/overrides from the nativePC folder - Vortex will also deploy mods to said directory unless the mod requires to be deployed to a different directory (Stracker's loader is one of those "mods") or if the mod in question has an unrecognised packing pattern, in which case the files will still deploy to nativePC, but mod might not work.
Can you please let us know which MHW mod you were testing with and what exactly the problem was.
Hey there, didnt realize you responded so quickly!
I was using SmartHunter, and MHW Transmog, and I ended up finding the issue. These mods didnt auto populate the target for them to run, they work great now!
Thanks again!
Glad to hear it's sorted!
Vortex Version: 1.2.20 Memory: 15.94 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.19041) Hey there,
I am in the middle of troubleshooting why my Monster Hunter World Mods were not launching, some forums are saying that I need to put the Mods directly in the nativePC folder. Vortex will not allow me to do this since its a native game folder. Any notes on this?
Also, I saw in my downloads 2 files for the game subnautica downloaded, which I didnt do so. I deleted them, but is there any reason why Vortex was downloading without me intending to do se?
Let me know!
