Bug Report - Other: Mod configuration menu not working. #7342

Vortex Version: 1.2.20 Memory: 13.93 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.19041) I dont know what is causing this issue. everything seems to be in place, when I start up FNV I get an error message in the pause menu and it reads(ERROR: the mcm cannot access its menu files. Either the files are missing, an error has occured with the NVSE plugin, or a firewall/UAC is preventing access. You may need to reinstall the mod, update your 32-bit visualC++2010 redistribution package, or change your firewall/UAC setting.)

Hi Jegar1, the answer to your issue can be found in the error message itself...

"ERROR: the mcm cannot access its menu files. Either the files are missing, an error has occured with the NVSE plugin, or a firewall/UAC is preventing access. You may need to reinstall the mod, update your 32-bit visualC++2010 redistribution package, or change your firewall/UAC setting."

  1. Make sure you have NVSE installed
  2. Make sure to re-install MCM to ensure that all files are present.
  3. Install/update your Visual C++ 2010 redistrib package
  4. Ensure that your Anti-Virus software isn't removing/blocking any of the mod's files.
