Bug Report - Other: Set up Error #9385

Vortex Version: 1.4.12 Memory: 15.91 GB System: win32 x64 (10.0.19042) i am unable to start Halo MCC

says Setup Error then modifiable windows apps. Also says program files Black Tree Gaming Ltd vortex resources app.asar, then goes on and says a bunch of these " at Promise..settlePromiseFromHAndler Promise..settlepromise" any help or advice would be helpful. Also I cant copy paste exactly what it says or else id do that, hopefully that is enough info

Hi - unfortunately that's not enough information for us to investigate - I'm assuming that Vortex was unable to create the mods folder due to the permissions.

Do the following:

  1. Open the xbox app and go to the Halo game entry and ensure that mods are enabled (in the screenshot below I'm enabling mods for PoE2 Deadfire but Halo should have the same functionality) image

  2. Start the game once with mods enabled so that the xbox app unlocks the mods directory.

  3. Open Vortex and try to mod the game.

If that did not fix your problem, you'll have to re-submit your bug report and attach your log files - we can't investigate this without them.
