When editing a id with no inputs that doesnt exist, it does not tell me that the id does not exist

I know that after i try to key in a new name, it will prompt me that this id does not exist, but I feel that it should have prompted me even before i input anything in

In our opinion, it makes more sense to only perform a check if the resource ID exists after the user enters an accepted command, since checking if the resource exists in the system is more computationally intensive than checking the command format. Hence this is not a bug but intended behaviour
