Unfortunately that's not much information to guess what might be happening. Selfhost does support subdomains for your subdomain I assume? And you have set both domain records to have the IP of your first PC running NPM? You can take a look into the npm docker container into the folder /data/logs
and see if the error log and access log contains any useful information. And whether the request acutally gets to NPM and is not just answered by selfhost.

I have a DynDNS-Provider (selfhost.eu). My Hostname is company.selfhost.eu - In NPM I have configure company.selfhost.eu for my first PC and it works fine.
Now I want create a second PC to access. I create a new sub-domain calls mail.company.selfthost.eu. I create a new Proxy Host in NPM. When I access the new domain then i see a error:
"Error: Redirection error"
