I want us to be part of a collective of open-source service providers, there is https://libreho.st that comes to mind, but i am not sure if they are still alive as my last information about it is from snopyta that said that they are leaving bcs they can't get things done?

Yea, they seem to have major issues with infrastructure management.. Hard to say how severe these problems are and whether they are fixable atm. Worst case we can establish this management as an alternative community and if it's as severe as it seems then we should learn from them and recognize how important it is to manage the project economy.
