Desperate need for menu button.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Apparently no way to use the hardware buttons (menu, back, power, search)
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have gotten past the no back button by using Task Panel and everything
else but the menu button I feel I can do without, but I really need access
to the menu for some apps.  Any way to do this, any plans for including it?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Cyanogen 4.2.9
Ubuntu ADB SDKr04

Please provide any additional information below.

I should have mentioned:

I have tried the key maps from the wiki section of this code.google site to no 
avail 
and
I am on the MT3G from T-Mobile.

Because with the keymap wiki it would appear to be functioning, maybe this 
defect can
or should be merged with issue 13?
