@thedooker I've been using your binding and so far it's worked flawlessly, however I got to the point where I am pretty much required to use the flashlight. The action of turning on the flashlight works but the action to load a battery is still shown as a gamepad "y" button. This also the case for the legend prompt in the map.
Wondering if you've had this issue with your binding or perhaps it was an oversight with the default bindings. Or it could be I messed up something.

To change the battery you have to hold the flashlight button(Right Trackpad Down) down instead of just pressing it. As for the map, it shows the Y button as Legend for me as well but it is also mapped as Right Trackpad Down, so I'd say just disregard the icon.
I've been slacking on getting through the game, just started back up a few days ago. I just encountered one issue during the 4th Mission. At one point you need to play 3 mini-games to reactivate communications which requires a D-Pad for a couple of them. I tried tinkering with the mapping to get it to work with Left Trackpad by mapping it to D-Pad as well but had no success. Ended up having to use my gamepad to get it done. Might be possible the other way, but I only gave it a few minutes of trying before deciding to carry on.
Is there a way to download this mapping? I think I'm being dim, but I can't see a way to set up custom controls in steamVR for anything except binaries it knows are VR (which it doesn't think AI is).

In order to map the VR controls, AI has to be running at the time of mapping. Only way it recognizes it AI.exe in VR controller config menu.. Have you tried this - Boot the game in VR, then ALT+TAB out, then on the SteamVR status window, go to Devices>Configure Controller.
Just wanted to share my WMR Odyssey+ Motion Controller mapping.
https://imgur.com/a/evF7vfd - screenshots of controller mapping.
Controls: Thumbsticks = Movement/Turning. Left Grip = Sprint/Menu select button Left Trigger = Crouch Left Trackpad = Motion Tracker Left Menu Button = Map Right Grip = Aim Right Trigger = Fire/Melee Right Trackpad = default MotherVR controls (center click = Radial Menu, down = interact, up = reload) Right Menu = Pause
Crafting - Press Left Trackpad at Radial Menu. Use Left Grip to selecting parts, then press Left Trackpad to craft. Maintenance Jack - Press and hold Right Grip and Right Trigger and move Left Thumbstick to the Left.
Make sure to set the Aim/Tracker Toggle settings to ON in MotherVR input settings. Had to do this so I could move around with ease while using Motion Tracker. Menu buttons can sometimes get a little tricky, but overall I've been able to play the game pretty smoothly so far.
Also, to make it easier for mapping - Boot the game in VR, then ALT+TAB out, then on the Steamvr status, go to Devices>Configure Controller. This way you don't have to map the controls through the headset.
Update: Upon Mission 4 - Reactivate Samuel's Communications - there are a couple of mini-games that require a D-Pad to complete. Only tried for a few minutes to map controls to get it to work, had no success. Used a gamepad to progress further.
I'll keep updating this the further I get to confirm complete functionality.
