Not working with Rift-S #176

I installed Alien Isolation yesterday and mothervr release 0.8 When I start the game I get the mothervr options to select either occulus or steamvr after which the game has to be restarted, but when starting I never get an image in my Rift S. I do see the start screen on my monitor which moves arround with my head movement. Any idea's on how to further analyse or debug this ?

I did try running AI.exe as an administrator. Even added some permissions to my account in the registry as I saw with process monitor that there was an access denied message.

but that did not resolve the issue

It works perfectly on my Rift S, i think you fucked up somewhere on your end!

it is working with rift s try to reinstall all, abd use to desinstall revo uninstaller

it works fine with my quest which is emulated as rift aswell

Not working for me either. Rift S. Game from Steam. I can set the game to run in VR from the options but the game then crashes every time on boot unless I delete the mothervr/open_vr files from the game directory. I have tried both running with Oculus selected or SteamVR selected, with SteamVR on and off, with SteamVR Theater settings disabled from the game properties on Steam, and with "-steamvr" in the launch options but haven't had any luck. I've reinstalled the game and tried again as well.

Figured it for me. As another thread suggested, this doesn't play nice with Razer software. Once I quit all Razer software from Task Manager (Synapse, Chroma, Headset), it worked fine.

Why would anyone use razer hardware in the first place lmao
