I can't crouch #180

Hi All,

Can someone help me? I'm using Gear VR with ALVR and Steam controller. Somehow i can't crouch. I did try everything what was on my mind. Shunting down controller and power it up in different times during startup the game etc. Different settings, bindings... I even try with my old xbox 360 and still everything is working besides crouching with right stick..

I love the game, please for any clue what i'm missing..

I never had problems with crouching when playing with my Rift. Now with the Index I can't crouch at all using a gamepad unless my Index controllers are turned on. The moment they're off I can't crouch and my character does a melee attack even if I don't want to. Perhaps your problem is similar, I don't really know.

Same problem here. Using Stream VR on oculus quest with rift2 Everything works fine but can't crouch (press right stick or any button else...) So stuck at early stage of the game :(

@seawave2 how about switching to normal view at this point and then switching back to VR when its done?

Thank you for the tip. I solved my crouch problem with help from other issue here by turning on my WMR controllers and setting them aside.

Same issue on Valve Index - VR controllers need to be turned on in order for the gamepad to work.

I'm on Rift CV1, only way I've solved the issue is to use version 0.6.0

Keep VR controllers ON won't help?

I've not tried doing that. Both versions have the weird perspective shift when turning head after crouching so will wait for a version that fixes that and hopefully it'll also fix crouch without having to turn VR controllers on.
