Latest version of Alien Isolation on Steam. I put the .dll in the main folder. Try to start the game. It does not start. I own a Valve Index.

I remove the .dll, Alien Isolation boots normally, running fine. Only "mods" have is the intro videos are deleted to so I can skip them.

No matter -what- I do however, as long as the dxgi.dll is in the main Alien Isolation folder, it does not boot.

Windows 10 64-bit 3080 (latest drivers) 5900X SSD

Ectera. All my other VR games work fine. Unsure what I'm doing wrong here. Using the latest.

Figured it out (for me anyway). Make sure that you UNcheck ‘disable full screen optimizations’ in the compatibility tab under AI.exe properties. That’s what my problem was. Also make sure you have a fresh install of the game and don’t launch it until after you’ve dropped in the mothervr file.
