Epic games version not starting #224

When i have the .dll file in the game folder it doesn't start, when i look in task manager it just shows up as a background process and not an app. when i take the file out it works perfectly fine, iv tried a bunch of crap but to no avail

I have exactly the same issue and have never managed to get the game to launch with the DLL in the folder. I get the 'Welcome to MotherVR...' message box pop up. Game launches fine without the DLL. This is running the latest 0.8.1 version.

Any help is appreciated. Cheers.

Not working for me either. Steam index on with epic games version. Game launches but the in game menu for mother vr does not show up. Have tried all the fixes to get it to work and no dice. Would really appreciate if someone could figure this out, I've been devasted, wanting to play this game in VR .

Edit: Got it fixed guys. Don't know what really fixed it, but when I restarted my computer, the menu finally showed up and it worked.

Epic Games version is working for me. You need to launch SteamVR first. And also, once in the menus, go to the VR options and select SteamVR run time.
