Hi,
I'm not sure where does this come from, witch term do you use ? I just tried and it works for me: http://pix.toile-libre.org/?img=1308180061.png So my first guess would be the terminal, but i'm not sure (i'm using urxvt)
Hi, Nic0 - thanks for the quick reply :)
I am using Konsole as terminal in openSUSE 11.4 (KDE 4) and the encoding is set to Unicode > UTF-8. AFAIK, Konsole works okay with Greek characters and encoding. I can write greek charactes in filenames and read folders with greek filenames. And other ncurses programs, like lynx, display Greek nicely:

But, Tyrs displays strange characters instead of Greek:

Any other ideas?
Seems a bug from Tyrs so, an ugly one... I'm not sure where does this one come from, and I can't think of a quick fix for it now. I'll try if I find anything about it, I'll do my best
Thanks for repporting the bug anyway
Should be fixes with the latest release, and the new UI.
Hi there,
thanks for this great app!
I came across Tyrs today and I liked the idea of microblogging from my linux console.
The problem is I can't read or write in Greek inside Tyrs. I saw that it has UTF-8 support, but something is probably wrong with it. I tested both the github and the OBS version and greek characters appear like this:

Any ideas?
