Does not work in background #1

Good application, but it does not work when I press the home button (bacground)

I like the app but should manage the background state.
Not interesting if can be used only in foreground.

Hi,
this application is not working in background. how to do that?
In Main.java,Can I use Service instead of Activity or can I use AsyncTask?????

Definitely more useful if it can be left as an "open receiver" while other apps 
are being used. A notification to keep it alive would not go amiss.

Hi, we're evaluating this application for use in different projects across our 
company with 40 or more phones.  The app works well when it's in the foreground 
but we would really need it working in the background too.  Pravinku, did you 
have any luck modifying the source to work in the background? Has anyone else 
made any progress with this? I'm going to look at the source now and see if 
there's anything I can do, but I'me not a very good Android programmer. A cheap 
and dirty way might be detecting when the activity is sent to background and 
then launching the same activity as a service.
