Problems with Beam Drill as Axe #1

Would it be possible to add alternate beam drills that function only as a pick, and not as a combination of pick and axe? Like the vanilla Laser Drill, the beam drills do not work very well with the smart cursor, and tends to prioritize cutting trees over digging up tiles, so using it is a bit problematic in the underground jungle.

Thank you for the message! I can certainly look into making a variation on the Beam Drills that do not function as axes. This is my first real content mod, so I am pretty new to this, but I am happy to try!

Hello, and thank you again for your feedback. I am happy to inform you that I have just published version 1.2.0 of my Beam Drill Pack mod. The axe capabilities of the beam drills have been removed, and three new "laser sledge" tools have been implemented. Laser sledges have the capabilities of both hammers and axes, and beam drills now only function as a pickaxe.
