Thank you Nick for your wonderful work on this code, it does miracles! I'd really love to fork it and try turn it into a fully-fledged command-line tool but don't know if it's truly open-source and free for further development. What license is it? GPL? Please add some licensing info!

And could you please upload your master's work text? I suppose it would greatly help understanding meaning of all the parameters to tweak. I noticed that stabilizing video with perspective motion causes distortions and I still cannot find out if anything can be tweaked to improve the results, besides rolling back to the FullFrameTransform functions.

Hello Nick! I still want to develop your code into a command-line tool for general public use. It is not possible as long as your code does not have any license at all. The only option I have is to rewrite the whole program from scratch intentionally avoiding any likeness with your code which is not a trivial task (and in fact a folly). A tool for general public use must have a license (e.g. GPL, MIT, Apache, etc.) otherwise it is considered a proprietary code and can only be studied but not used or developed any further.
