Thank you for submitting this issue. Can you describe in more detail what lead to this exception or how I can reproduce it?

I now got this error without using the component in the background.

Ok, I won't be able to fix this as I am currently on vacation. So the earliest I could push a fix is at the end of the month. If anyone wants to work on this, feel free to open a PR, I would gladly accept it.

This issue was fixed by #7 and is contained in v2.1.2. It is currently being reviewed by Jetbrains and should be published within the next week. Alternatively you can download it now from the releases page and install it manually.

If the issue still remains, feel free to leave a comment, then I will reopen this issue.
