Nothing sticks after reloading. even saving data doesn't make anything stick #1

i know you said diamonds and shards don't stick but stars for example should stick but they don't, whats the issue here?

Saving data and loading it will resynchronize your stats with the server, so avoid that. Stars, coins, demons, etc. should all stick upon closing and reopening your game though.

Is there any way to stick stats "legitimately"? For example I tried hacking some demon keys and getting shards by opening chests, but that didn't seem to work either
