I have 2 options on integration with external services.
One could be a API, where i do the manual programming (export to a CMS)
There is an alternative though and that's immediatly integrate it (the API) with a service like ifttt.com, that (freely -for now) integrates with a lot of other third party components (eg. Wordpress is okay, Drupal isn't).
This should eliminate a lot of work and time (eg. posting a new item to a Wordpress news website).
I can also use an alternative to ifttt, which is self-hosted, but that's going to require some manual work (but it's an interesting concept though).
The integration isn't live in the latter option, but i don't think that's a requirement in this case, a new item is getting posted to the website, that's the only thing that matters. What could come in handy, is the benefits by using IFTTT (or something else). Eg. Email integration, RSS feeds, Google Drive, ... without any extra programming, just some simple clicks.
