Experiment with different fonts ( eg. Githubs font-family is : -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol" ) on font-size 16px.

Current font doesn't make the text as readable as it should

Also, if the user has already upvoted the link. The text should appear much lighter ( less important)

So:

[x] More readable text
[x] Lighter color when upvoted the post

Improved layout, also added whitespace below the action links

Try changing (font-size to 14) or (font to Verdana & font-size:10px) for improving readability
