If you have a MEGASync installation before running this script, all the files in that directory will get deleted without warning. Although you have a set of copies on the MEGA Sever you can look forward to download and sync those files again.

The script does in fact ask you:

"This is the first time you are running MEGA-Instances. In order to continue we must delete your existing MEGA instance. Press Yes to continue, No to abort."
