The current Notifications column has two tabs: All and Mentions.
The problem is, sometimes, when you post something, it spawns a whole thread with loads and loads of replies, and ends up going off topic with people having deep tangential discussions. And because of the way Mastodon works, you end up getting mentioned in every single one of them, unless the poster remembers to manually remove your name (most don't, or they don't bother).
That's really cool and all, but sometimes new followers get lost when you're scrolling through all those replies, and I'd really like to highlight those so I can check out their profiles and decide whether I want to follow them or not.
It'd be really nice if I had a view/filter in my Notifications column (or perhaps somewhere else), that showed me all my new followers as they come in.
