Right now, all post timestamps are relative (“20m”, “20d”, etc.). It’s true that we can see absolute timestamps (e.g., 2:45 AM) if we hover our cursor over the relative timestamp, but I think it would be convenient if there were an option to replace relative timestamps with absolute timestamps directly.
What’s more, one feature I like from the Better TweetDeck browser plugin is the ability to define a secondary timestamp for posts older than 24h. For instance, on posts less than a day old, I use the “3:00 AM” format, whereas on posts more than a day old, I add the date: “07/19/23 11:35 PM”. This lets me see at a glance both a) whether a post is more or less than a day old, and b) what the exact posting time was, without having to hover my cursor over the relative timestamp.
