Add type annotations #7

Hi, I want to contribute to open-source projects and learn how to collaborate and work in a team. I have been programming with Python for the last 6 years and I know Java.

I just want to ask whether it is okay to add type annotations to this project and maybe do some refactoring. Just respond with a short answer.

And if I'm 'needed' anywhere else, please tell me :)
