1 month ago Point 2 is moot, mobs in XIV stall until the time the cast bar would have completed naturally if interrupted.
But yeah, a minimum delay would be useful as as it's a giveaway of tool usage and some mobs have quick casts that might as well be their auto-attacks, so it's not worth interrupting.
this feature interrupts the cast at the very millisecond, which is sometimes very telling of a bot like behavior of the sheer instant reaction. what about putting an internal cooldown before interrupt is used of like 1-2 seconds?
it would have 2 benefits: 1 - more human like behavior rather than instant perfect on the cast. 2 - monster will be stationary casting and not do attacks until interrupted.
