Dear @Niketkumardheeryan , I would like to contribute to this open source project under GSSOC'24 by developing an arrhythmia disease detection model using PPG data. Arrhythmia is a heart condition in which a patient's heart beats becomes irregular which can be a life threatening situation. PPG or Photoplethysmography is an uncomplicated and inexpensive optical measurement method that is often used for heart rate monitoring purposes, it is often present in various inexpensive smartwatches too. A simple but robust ML model can analyze this PPG data to detect irregular heart beats which can help save millions of lives.
