Device not found with ADB #82

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Device name : Droid Bionic
Device rooted (yes/no) : no
Device OS version (1.5/1.6/2.0,...) : newest. Bought 2 weeks ago.

Computer OS and version (Mac,Win,Linux,...) : Mac OS X Lion
Java version (java -version from command line) : 6
ADB version (adb version from command line) : newest
AndroidScreencast version : newest

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Plug Droid into Mac Book Pro.
2. Navigate to Platform Tools
3. Type ./adb devices

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was trying to get androidscreencast to work. It starts up fine but does not
list my device.
I tried "./adb devices" to verify that my device could not be found. Sure enough it reports
with "error: device not found" What the heck is going on?!

Please provide any additional information below.

This isn't going to be a problem with AndroidScreencast at all. Instead, try
looking for your device drivers for your OS. ADB is part of Google/Android's
SDK. Hope you found an answer.
