Live2D Visualiser names list function idea #43

I think a sort/filter for the names list of the l2d visualiser would be nice. Such as sort by newest release

I don't see why this would be useful, unless for non english players that cannot search using english names

It might not be worth the trouble of doing, I'm no dev so I have no idea of what the work involved might be. I just thought being able to efficiently find characters without relying on knowing and typing their names would be a nice QoL change to help future proof the already large list. I don't know if you plan to maintain this long-term, but I think having a sort/filter option will become increasingly valuable as the list grows and grows.

A filter for bosses (I see there's "Boss: ___" right now), npcs, playables, and just those live2d animations (e.g., "Cherry Blossom"). Just general stuff, but if filter/sorting is added, in the future you can expand it if you want to even cover events, classes, rarities etc. As for sorting, I think many (me) often just want to see what's new. And yeah, non-english users as well as non-players (me) may not remember or know the names of whatever they might be looking for. Even players too; I personally don't always remember the names of every character in the gacha I do play daily.

I'll think about it.

I have a small category system already set in place for the abandonned tier list maker. Might complete these and setup something.

Though I never tracked the release dates of everything so tracking ny date added will not be that perfect.

However I have very small time dedicated to personnal programming and I use it all on another website, so this will most likely wait for months , if ever, to start being worked on.
