[CLEANUP] Use more monospace fonts in the README

Two things:

1. Having code snippets (including inline code) in text as monospace seems to be a very widespread convention, as the font style will then be the same as in an IDE.
2. Markdown style guides seem to agree on this:

I can agree that code and inline code should be marked in another font style. However both sections you changed are no code sections. Thus I'll prefer to stay with the bullet list as I think this already formats the sections very well.
