5 years ago The Github clone is working. However a new database had to be created.
After conducting some research I have concluded that I will run my project on one machine only. It is possible to use it across several devices, however it would include exporting and importing databases constantly or some advanced developing. Changes will sink to Github Desktop Client but the database will remain in its location until the project is finished and uploaded.
Even editing it remotely by having a transportable device containing the database is difficult because MySQL stores settings and files in the computer's individual program settings and preferences.

Once Wordpress is working on one machine, test the Github clone and sync on other machines to ensure it is working.
Keep in mind the database and issues that will arise from this.
If it is unsuccessful then clone the repository to an external device in order to edit remotely.
Back up your copies and ensure you have the correct versions backed up and labelled.
