Constant sound issue (I'm dying) #13

I have isolated this mod and confirmed that without it my ears are happy. Once I add it and go into a world however, this noise will randomly spam. https://streamable.com/hru2kd This is Neoforge 47.1.76, and the only one version of this mod up on curseforge for 1.20.1

It almost sounds like a machine gun about 3/4 through the clip

I'm really sorry for this issue and how long it has existed, but I have never before been able to replicate it and thereby been able to fix it. The issue only appears when using the forge modloader not the one provided by my mod creation software. Because it's so annoying, I'll remove every sound effect added by this mod for the next update. Could you then please report, if the sound glitch has disappeared?

I have tested it after the removal of the sound effects and to me it seems like the sound glitch has disappeared. Because I'm unsure about that (I haven't been able to replicate it for a long time), I'd like to see that it has disappeared for you too.

@NinjaBunny1 I can’t verify if you fixed it unless you upload the version or drop the jar here

@ImpulsiveLad @NinjaBunny1 I've used [Extreme Sound Muffler] mod to mute the Elytra Flying sound that was creating that weird cracking sounds that I suppose Lad had been experiencing, and I can confirm that this mod is the issue. Until it is fixed I suggest using ESM mod to negate that issue.

@GreyBirb thanks man I wanted to delete the mod from my modpack because the sound was making me crazy then i thought i would come here to see if someone know how to fix this and you are truly a hero. i spent like 1 hour deleting and checking which mod is causing this sound because i installed like 10+ mods before it started lol.

I can confirm I have been having the same issue of the constant strange elytra sound spamming, isolated the mod and looked on here. Thank you for providing a solution ☺️

I have the issue here too, MC v1.20.1, mod v1.4.3, NeoForge v47.1.104 Spent an entire day locating this problem: https://youtu.be/B3vB_8Gd91g Not sure what causes it. Looked into the files of the mod to see if it might be a sound not playing correctly. But the mod comes with no new extra sounds. So it's clearly a bug with the code somewhere in the mod. Came to report the issue, but clearly someone else has this issue too. Although, i would call it more like Radiation clicking instead of machine gun shooting, since the clicking is more randomized. It appears to only happen in Survival mode. Spectator or Creative mode have the sound go away. Did not test it in Nether or End. So I cannot give a statement there.

Thankfully, it's not a super important QoL type mod like JeI or Map mods. (imho) So if it ever gets fixed. Looking forward to re-add mod.

Hope you lot knows what goes on with this eventually.
