It features a player-controlled spaceship shooting bullets to destroy descending green alien invaders. The player can move left and right and gains points for shooting aliens. Game over occurs when an alien reaches the player's spaceship, and the game can be restarted. The code is structured around key listener events, collision detection, and a graphical user interface.
