Ch2 Requirements and Updates #37

This adds a requirements.txt for Chapter 2 as requested in #36 I've also updated function calls to work with the most up-to-date libraries.

If this works for you I'll proceed to the next chapters.

There are still errors when running these scripts directly but they are out of scope for this PR.
