Feature request: Browser extension #8

I am a long-time 1Password user using the Windows client via Wine, and the official Firefox extension. This has been a little bit clunky over the years, but has finally stopped working with the release of Firefox 57 and the new LastPass extension, which is not compatible with Wine (and the old extension no longer works on Firefox 57).

What would be awesome is either one of the following:

While I agree that would be extremely beneficial in the current state of the 1password app I built it just becomes a html page host for the functionality that agilebits exposed to view the 1password app via dropbox. They do have a spec for handling the files but I haven't had the time to actually look into building a brand new application by using the spec and in turn replacing 1password altogether. That would however take some time, and a lot of help and I have neither of the required resources a this time to complete it :( (Time / money)
