Communication error #31

Hi,

When I attempt to check my Nitrokey FIDO U2F firmware, Firefox asks me to touch the key multiple time, the key blinks, but I got this error:

Communication error

Update application could not communicate with the device. Please try again and make sure to:

    Nitrokey FIDO2 device is inserted to the USB slot
    All other FIDO U2F and FIDO2 devices are disconnected
    Do not lose browser focus by switching applications or activating screensaver
    Check if device responds to the FIDO U2F / FIDO2 requests on other sites (optionally)

Currently only Nitrokey FIDO2 is supported. Other Nitrokey models are not supported.

Here are the environment information:

Firefox 108.0 on OS X 10.15 (WebAuthn supported)
Connected Nitrokey FIDO2 firmware version: unknown
Latest Nitrokey FIDO2 firmware version: 2.4.0.nitrokey
Device state: not available

Update application status: (0) Communication Error

Hi! Sorry, but Nitrokey FIDO U2F does not support firmware updates. Only Nitrokey FIDO2 can be updated using this service.
